Following the success of the last 3 years, DYW are launching our 4th #NoWrongPath campaign. #NoWrongPath celebrates the range and diversity of career paths in Scotland. Established in 2017, this award-winning campaign seeks to inspire and reassure young people that even in the most difficult times there are still opportunities for them to progress and that there is no wrong path to success.
This year has been unique due to the disruption to education and the impact to final exam results and it is important, now more than ever, to connect with school leavers who may not have received their expected results as well as those who may be leaving college or university and now face a very different labour market.
We need people who may have travelled along many pathways to get to the point they are at just now and who can share their story either through a photograph, video or case study which we can then share and promote across all of our channels and networks using #NoWrongPath to get as much information in front of as many young people across Scotland as possible.
This year we are also very keen to engage with organisations who may be offering apprenticeships, jobs or training either now or, potentially, in the ‘near’ future so that we can collate these opportunities and guide young people towards them.
#NoWrongPath aims to show young people the options that are available to them and that exams results are not necessarily the key to unlocking future success.
This Scottish Exam Results Day (Tuesday 4th August 2020), we invite you to get involved.
You can download a template HERE. If you wish we can promote your path for you, to do this send your photo, video or case study to firstname.lastname@example.org. We're looking forward to seeing your path!
